Both systems were developed as video infrastructure solutions that work in applications such as broadcast video encoding and decoding, real-time transcoding at 1080p60, security and surveillance, video conferencing and industrial video processing. The Z3-DM8169-VI-RPS system features both hardware and software components. Based on the DaVinci™ TMS320DM8169 video processor from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI), the hardware provided includes one Z3-DM8169-MOD-2x system-on-module card and a video infrastructure application board, the Z3-DM8168-APP-3x, which provides advanced video input/output capabilities.

As the newest member in the ZEUS family of H.264 encoders, the Z3-MVE-100 represents the latest in encoding performance and functionality. The core of the Z3-MVE-100 is based on Texas Instruments (TI) TMS320DM8169 DaVinci™ digital media processor platform.

The Z3-MVE-100 is a cost-effective system suitable for 1080p60 broadcast encoding, satellite uplink,remote monitoring and industrial applications. It is now available as a compact 280mm x 165mm x 43mm system that supports H.264 High Profile encode up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. Lincoln, NE USA (April 13, 2012) – Z³ Technology, a leading provider of video compression solutions, is extending its line of ZEUS products and today announced the immediate availability of the Z3-DME-01 Broadcast H.264 Video Encoder, based on the DaVinci™ TMS320DM368 video processor from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI).

The Z3-DME-01 is a cost-optimized Digital Media Encoder. This solution works in multiple applications, such as low-cost broadcast encoders, satellite uplink, HD security video server, industrial applications and remote monitoring. It is now available as a compact 179mm x 123mm x 29mm system that supports H.264 High Profile encode up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. The Z3-DME-01 provides an easy-to-use HTTP-based graphical user interface (GUI), which allows the user remote access to the system for configuration and software updates.
