Z3 Technology, LLC, a leading provider of video encoding systems, announced today the release of the DME-40, a new H.265 video encoder capable of encoding up to four 4K Ultra HD cameras using high efficient H.265. The DME-40 is an ideal platform for broadcast, medical imaging, event streaming, industrial video, low-latency and low bit-rate streaming and other multi-camera video streaming and recording applications.

The DME-40 supports H.265 and H.264 encode in resolutions up to 2160p30 and is easily controlled via the HTTP-based GUI. In addition to 6G-SDI and HDMI 1.4b inputs, interfaces on the system also include KEL jack for 4K cameras, GbEth, USB 3.0 and SD Card. Designed with the user in mind, the DME-40 offers real-time genlock, streaming of up to four 4K cameras and neural net accelerator engine for video analytics.
