Providing the latest in integrated embedded video solutions, Z3 Technology, LLC will be joining Arrow Electronics at Embedded World 2016 to showcase an HEVC (H.265) video decoding demonstration that features Texas Instruments latest Sitara™ AM572x processors. These new processors offer unmatched performance in their class featuring dual 1.5 GHz ARM® Cortex®-A15’s and dual 750 MHz C66x digital signal processors (DSPs). These accelerated multimedia processors offer real-time control and processing while offering support for industrial specific protocols.
The platform used for this demonstration will be Z3 Technology’s Z3-AM572x-RPS development kit, which is shipping today. This system is capable of HEVC video decoding at resolutions up to 1080p30 as well as H.264 video encoding and decoding up to 1080p60.
