Z3 Technology, LLC, a leading provider of video encoding systems, announced today the release of the DME-20, a new H.265 video encoder capable of encoding resolutions up to 2160p30 HDMI or up to 3G-SDI. The DME-20 is a new broadcast-quality system designed for applications including medical imaging, event streaming, industrial video, low latency and low bitrate streaming, as well as many other streaming applications where bandwidth and space is limited.
Designed with the highest efficient video compression technology, users can save time and money by streaming their highest quality video with half the bandwidth. Zixi Feeder is enabled to tackle lossy transmission situations. In addition, closed captioning can be integrated in video streaming and broadcasting applications.
We are excited to offer our customers a new H.265 encoder that is powerful enough to handle 2160p30 video streams, all within a compact package. In developing the DME-20, we were quickly able to create a 4K encoder product by taking advantage of our experience developing compact embedded video modules. This allowed us to create an unbeatable 4K video encoder, Aaron Caldwell, CEO, Z3 Technology said.
The DME-20 supports H.265 and H.264 encode in resolutions up to 2160p30 and is easily controlled via the HTTP-based GUI. In addition to HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, interfaces on the system also include GbEth, USB 2.0, RS-485 and RS-232.
The DME-20 is readily available for purchase, visit our website for additional information. For additional support, or to learn about Z3s additional video encoder offerings email sales@z3technology.com or visit our website.
